A delegation of the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union, led by Union President Mr Ahmed Taleb Ould Maâloum, offered condolences to Executive Board member Dr El Hacen Ould Amar Jouda at midday yesterday, Tuesday 18 July 2023, in Nouakchott, following the death of his mother, Nenna Mint Soueid. May Allah grant her His forgiveness.
On behalf of the Executive Board and Union members, the President expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to their colleague El Hacen Ould Amar Jouda and his family.
The delegation members prayed for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased.
The Union delegation comprised:
Zeineb Mint El Jed, the Union’s Secretary-General; her deputy Achrif Ould El Arbi; Imam Eddine Ould Ahmedou, responsible for Disputes and Complaints; Maria Ladji Traoré, responsible for Activities and Organisation on the Executive Board; journalist El Mokhtar Ould Taleb Nafea; and journalist Mariem Mint Hammadi.
