A delegation of the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union, led by Union President Mr Ahmed Taleb Ould Maâloum, offered condolences at midday on Wednesday 14-12-2022 in Nouakchott to Executive Board member Mr Ahmed Ould Lahraqui, following the death of his brother, Mr El Koury Ahmed Mahmoud, Chief Clerk of the sixth investigating office.
On behalf of Union members, the delegation expressed sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to their colleague Ahmed Ould Lahraqui and his family.
The delegation members prayed for mercy and forgiveness for the deceased. The delegation comprised Mr Aziz Ould Soufi, Vice-President; Mr Achrif Ould El Arbi, Deputy Secretary-General; and Mr Imam Eddine Ould Ahmedou, responsible for Disputes and Complaints on the Union’s Executive Board.
