The Al Jazeera Centre for Public Liberties and Human Rights and the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union are organising a solidarity gathering to condemn the assassination of our colleague Shireen Abu Akleh by the Israeli occupation army. It will take place on Thursday 16 June 2022 at five in the evening at the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union headquarters in Nouakchott.
We are honoured to invite all journalists and everyone interested in human rights and media affairs to take part in this gathering.
