Condolences
With profound sadness, the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union has learned of the death of its member, veteran journalist Ely Ould Abdallah. May Allah have mercy on him.
On this painful occasion, the Union offers its heartfelt condolences to the deceased’s family and, through them, to all journalists. It asks Almighty Allah to encompass him in His boundless mercy and grant him Paradise alongside the truthful, the martyrs and the righteous, who are excellent companions.
Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.
