The Executive Bureau of the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union announced the indefinite postponement of its fourth general congress, which had been scheduled for 19 and 20 December of the current month.
In a statement, the Bureau explained that the postponement was in response to “the precautionary measures taken by the state to prevent the spread of the Covid 19 epidemic”.
It added that the congress would take place “when health conditions are suitable”.
