The Mauritanian Journalists’ Union formed a committee to oversee its elections.
The committee is chaired by media professional El Hacen Moulay Ely and includes Sayed Abdel Koddous Ahmed El Mekki, Etbeira Ahmed Louli and Diagana Babouna.
In a statement, the committee said it would be on duty at the Union headquarters from 15 to 24 May 2020, from noon until three in the afternoon, to receive nomination files.
The Mauritanian Journalists’ Union is preparing its fourth congress, expected to take place on the thirtieth and thirty-first of the current month of May.
