In response to a request from the Mauritanian Journalists’ Union, colleague Mohamed El Mokhtar Tedieh, Director of Radio Nouadhibou station, warmly received colleagues Safiya Leghdaf and Kouro Moussa in his office this morning, for which we thank him. He restored them to their previous roles at the station: Safiya as a programme presenter and Kouro as a radio technician.
The Union will approach the national radio’s general management in Nouakchott to change the two colleagues’ status at the station from volunteers to contributing staff until recruitment opens.
